Nazarbayev University and the NU Impact Foundation ecosystem participated in the international BETT Show 2025 exhibition in London

From January 21 to 23, 2025, Nazarbayev University and the NU Impact Foundation ecosystem took part in BETT Show, the leading international exhibition of educational technologies held in London. Within the exhibition, three startups from the ecosystem — WeGlobal, Artisan Education, and Alpha Education — presented Kazakhstan-developed solutions in the fields of EdTech, artificial intelligence, and student well-being.

WeGlobal showcased a digital platform for psychological support and a strategic project aimed at implementing a student well-being system at Nazarbayev University. The project was presented to the official delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, as a scalable Kazakhstan-based solution. During the exhibition, strategic connections were established with educational institutions in the United Kingdom, agreements were reached with partners in Lithuania regarding entry into the national market, and the formation of a research partnership with Oxford University was initiated. The platform attracted strong interest from educational systems across Europe and Asia.

Artisan Education presented an educational ecosystem that includes an online learning platform and the PiBody hardware solution, focused on developing engineering thinking and practice-oriented education. During BETT Show, the company established connections with universities in the United Kingdom and Japan, as well as with AI and EdTech companies, and received international interest in its product as a flexible and affordable alternative to traditional online learning platforms.

Alpha Education showcased AI and digital courses designed to automate learning and integrate educational solutions into real academic and business processes. The startup’s products attracted interest from universities and EdTech teams in the United Kingdom and European Union countries, particularly in relation to hybrid learning formats and practice-oriented AI solutions.

Participation of startups from the NU Impact Foundation ecosystem in BETT Show 2025 confirmed strong international interest in Kazakhstan’s EdTech solutions and their potential for scaling in global markets.
