The first concert at the Onergy Creative Hub has taken place, featuring Temporal Remnant – an evening of original music by pianist and composer Agakhan Sabzaly.
The program brought together a sound that resists strict genre definition, existing at the intersection of jazz, the classical traditions of the Romantic era, and Kazakh musical heritage.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Johannes Brahms, as well as the kuy tradition of Kazangap and Dauletkerey, Sabzaly reinterprets these influences through a contemporary lens, shaping a distinct musical language and philosophy. In his performances, the artist approaches sound as a universal language one that transcends stylistic and cultural boundaries and speaks directly to the listener’s inner experience.
The concert marked the opening of live performances in the new Onergy space and set the tone for its future music program.
