Nazarbayev University (NU) has strengthened its position on the global stage, advancing into the top 23% of universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026.
NU first appeared in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in 2024. This year, it has strengthened its position, reaffirming its status as the #1 university in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and the Caucasus, and the 4th leading institution in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)
