As part of the educational program by the NU Impact Foundation, participants of Social Startup Camp 2025 took part in field visits to social enterprises in Astana.
This experiential session allowed students and young innovators to see how social entrepreneurship works in practice, learn the stories of founders, and get inspired by real-life examples of sustainable business models.
Participants visited:
- Oina by Aliya Bulat (Öner Bilim Ortalygy) — a center for children’s creativity and development;
- Garbar Group — a social furniture workshop;
- Dos Ortopedia — a company creating an accessible environment and inclusive solutions for people with disabilities;
- Social Innovation Hub — the first social innovation hub in Central Asia.
The field visits became an important part of the program aimed at developing social entrepreneurship thinking and creating projects that bring value to society.
Participants returned with new ideas, connections, and inspiration to implement their own initiatives within Social Startup Camp 2025!
