The DeepTech Bäige 2026 final brought together the most promising deep tech startups from across Kazakhstan

This year, the competition received over 200 applications. Following a multi-stage selection process, 11 finalist teams were chosen to present their projects to a jury of experts, investors, and representatives of the technology ecosystem.

The final event was attended by distinguished guests, including Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan , and Nico Caprez, Vice President of Global AI Infrastructure Growth at NVIDIA . His presence was particularly significant: NVIDIA is one of the key global players shaping the AI industry. This is the layer where the future of the digital economy is being built, and his participation reflects growing international attention to Kazakhstan’s deep tech ecosystem.

The total prize pool of the competition amounted to 16 million KZT, fully funded by the NU Impact Foundation.
