Eurasian Bank, together with the NU Impact Foundation and the Earth Foundation “Sustainable Development”, held an environmental initiative on the site of the future NU Park at Nazarbayev University in Astana. As part of the project, participants planted 50 Siberian spruce trees, which will become part of a new green promenade.NU Park is a large-scale project being developed as part of Nazarbayev University’s open campus vision. The park will become a modern public space featuring green promenades, sports and creative zones, as well as areas for walking, recreation, and outdoor work. It is designed to become an integral part of city life and a new destination for students, residents, and visitors to the capital.

“For Eurasian Bank, participation in initiatives like this is an investment not only in the environment, but also in the quality of urban life and the future of younger generations. NU Park is an important and inspiring project that brings together education, culture, and care for people. We are pleased to have contributed, together with our partners, to the creation of a space that will become a place for connection, development, and recreation for students and city residents,” said Assiya Kuldybayeva, Managing Director and Head of Eurasian Bank’s Astana Branch. Projects like this become possible when partners share common values and a commitment to supporting initiatives designed for long-term impact.
“NU Park is not simply a campus landscaping project. It is part of the broader vision of Nazarbayev University as an open campus — a university that is open to the city, to people, and to new ideas and opportunities. We are creating an environment that will serve not only future generations of students, but the wider community and the future of the city. It is especially valuable to have partners alongside us who share this vision,” said Dina Saifutdinova, Managing Director of the NU Impact Foundation.
