Project purpose

Assistance in learning Kazakh as a second/foreign language through authentic video interviews with the support of the international language learning network Easy Languages.

Project description

Easy Qazaq project aims to bring a new perspective to the study of Kazakh language through the global linguistic community of Easy Languages. The project provides video content in 2 formats:

  • Impromptu street interviews
  • «Super easy» videos, including simple vocabulary, grammar and slow speech for beginner learners

Expected results

  • Kazakh language will become part of the worldwide language learning network Easy Languages
  • Fascinating educational language content in Kazakh language will be created for people studying it as a second/foreign language
  • The image of modern Kazakhstan and its society through linguistic and cultural immersion will be presented
