The Social Development Fund pays maximum attention to students and applicants of the Nazarbayev University. Supporting the students from socially vulnerable families is one of our priorities.
In the Spring of 2020, the education system around the world experienced a colossal “shake”. To ensure the continuity of education and professional training, since September 2020 the Foundation has decided to provide students with financial support to pay for Internet access.
For the period from September to December 2020, financial support was provided to 128 students in the amount of more than 5 million tenge. In addition, from January to March of this year, 218 students experiencing financial and technical difficulties were provided with financial support in the amount of more than 7 million tenge. Also, in the period from April to May, the Fund will provide financial support in the amount of 5 million tenge.
