On January 25, Nazarbayev University, together with the Social Development Fund and the Center for the development of giftedness and psychological support “Astana Daryny” held the first Olympiad in Mathematics.
The purpose of the event was to raise interest in studying the natural mathematical cycle subjects and create the necessary conditions for identifying gifted children at an early age.
This Olympiad was held in a pilot mode, and 46 students of 10-12 grades of the pre-selected schools of the capital could take part in it.
After the event, participants understood Nazarbayev University better, talked with its representatives, and studied the campus.
